Central Arkansas’s Last Chance Run
Please join local running clubs including the Arkansas Running Klub, Cabot Country Cruisers, Conway Running Club, Little Rock Roadrunners, Saline County Striders and the Spa Pacers on Saturday, December 30th at 9 AM for the 2nd Annual Central Arkansas' Last Chance Run! This FREE run will take place at War Memorial Park and anyone is welcome to participate! We will meet in the parking lot west of the roundabout at Fair Park Blvd and Zoo Dr. There is limited parking within the park, but there is plenty of overflow parking at the nearby War Memorial Stadium.
There will be 2.5 mile marked loop around the park that participants will be welcome to run or walk as many times as they would like! There will also be a 1/2 mile kids run at 8:40 AM.
Drinks and snacks will be provided after the run in a covered pavilion and there will be a number of door prizes to be given away to registered participants that are in attendance. Many of the participating running clubs and sponsors will have tables and tents set up so you can get in your miles with old friends, and then hang out out afterwards to make some new ones!
We will also be taking donations of canned food and non-perishable food items for the Arkansas Foodbank. Donations are not required, but are encouraged. The participating running clubs will once again have a friendly competition to win the Last Chance Run Cup.
Thank you to our sponsors and friends that have helped to make this event possible: Arkansas RRCA Grand Prix, Blue Rose Physical Therapy, Garner Timing Services, Little Rock Parks & Recreation and Rock City Running. Special thanks to Little Rock Parks & Recreation for once again allowing us to use War Memorial Park for the event!
Please note that this is a "rain or shine" event with exception for unsafe inclement weather (e.g. lightning). Those who choose to participate should recognize that the suggested route will be open to the public and part of the loop will involve running along a sidewalk of a city street with vehicular traffic. Each individual is encouraged to use appropriate caution and is responsible for his or her own safety. Additionally, if runners choose to run outside the designated loop they need to do so at their own discretion, as the streets around the park will be open to the public.

2023 ARSCCA RallyX 2
7 Highway 285 E, Greenbrier
Send off 2023 by slinging some dirt with us!
Cool weather and sticky surfaces are a hallmark of winter RallyX and our favorite time of year to turn some laps.
Thanks to Red Oak Excavating our surface held up great during the last event and we're looking forward to playing with a new configuration. Mark your calendars for
12/30 and come get dirty with ARSCCA and the Rally Arkansas crew!
---
Online Registration Fees:
SCCA MEMBER ENTRY FEE -- $40
NON-MEMBER ENTRY FEE -- $50
On-site Registration Fees:
SCCA MEMBER ENTRY FEE -- $50
NON-MEMBER ENTRY FEE -- $60
Make sure to bring water, sunscreen, and a few quarters to wash any accumulated dirt from your wheels after the event.
We always recommend bringing a lunch when you go RallyX, but our Greenbrier site is close to town and does have a gas station with an Arby's directly across Hwy 65. Stayed tuned to the event page on Facebook for updates.
Schedule:
This is our typical schedule. RallyX is a bit more laid back than your typical SCCA AutoX. We're probably not going to be there much sooner than when the gates / registration open. If you show up first thing in the morning you might be by yourself. If you insist, feel free to move the cones over to the course site
9:30 am - Gates open
10::00 am - Registration opens
10:55 am - Registration closes
11:00 am - Drivers meeting
11:15 - 11:30 am - Timed runs begin.
Please make sure children are accompanied by an adult that is not participating in the event. Pets must be on a leash and accompanied by a person at all times. No unattended pets are permitted on site.
Alcohol is not permitted on site during the event.
What is RallyCross?
RallyCross is like our "Solo" autocross program, but on an open field or dirt. Drivers attempt to set their best time on an agility course marked by cones, and cars are grouped in classes based on capability and level of modification. Courses are a little more open and speeds are a little lower that autocrosses, but the emphasis on accessibility, safety, affordability, and fun is the same as SCCA Solo.
RallyCross differs from stage rally that many have seen on television. There are no jumps or ditches, and roll cages are not required. Drivers preview the course by walking it or going on a low-speed lead-and-follow lap, rather than following the pace notes of a navigator. SCCA RallyCross also differs from European-style rallycross, where drivers race wheel-to-wheel on a track. Our events are strictly one-at-a-time competitions against the clock.
RallyCross doesn't take the best single run like in Solo, but is a combination of multiple runs.
