After earning a teaching degree at Arkansas Tech University, Courtney started her career life in the classroom as a first-grade teacher at Baseline Academy in Little Rock. She taught for 3 years until she gave birth to her sweet boy, Cain. She then spent a couple of years enjoying her new little one as a stay-at-home Mom,

but when it was time for her to re-join the workforce, she decided to do it on her terms with a career in real estate, rather than go back to teaching. The freedom & flexibility and fast-paced interactive schedule were super appealing to her and she wanted to do something that would keep her busy and interested. She was not willing to give up that precious time with her family. She is super thankful to have found a way to provide for her family where she can have both!

Although she had been interested in Real Estate for a while, it was the encouragement of her Agent Kery Scott, that pushed her to take the plunge and become an agent herself. She started working in our earn as you learn program in May of 2021 and earned her license that following October. As soon as she got her license, Courtney joined the Tabatha Davis Team and she hasn't looked back since!

Courtney would like to give a shoutout to both Kery and Tabatha for answering all of her calls and questions. She said, "I have never had to do ANYTHING I wasn't completely confident in because they are always there when I need them and have taught me so much! They are the most gracious and willing leaders who also care about my well-being and life even outside of our careers!" She also wanted to thank her husband, Kyle. "He is the BEST dad to our son and my biggest supporter, he will get on board with any & all of my crazy ideas and he is my best friend," she said. She also wanted to thank her parents and in-laws, who are incredibly supportive and involved in their lives. "They all want the best for us and always help in any way they can," she added.

Courtney's favorite part about being a realtor is the relationships with clients and other agents she has made. She LOVES meeting new people and she has made so many new friends.

She says she does not have a preferred demographic to work with, she has worked with first-time homebuyers in their twenties and enjoyed helping them just as much as the 93-year-old veteran she had the pleasure of serving!

When we asked Courtney to tell us more about herself, she had this to say... "I am a mother and a wife first and foremost. Those are my favorite titles and I would do anything for my husband and son to see me succeed and for them to be proud of me is what I long for!

As long as I am making them proud, I'm good! I'm also a sister, daughter, and daughter-in-law. I am very close to all of our family and love spending as much time with them as possible. I have incredible friends as well of course who I enjoy having dinners and going on trips with!

We are so proud of Courtney and excited for the success she is having on our team. She is an inspiration to others and works very hard for the clients she serves. We know the future is bright for this realtor!
