More is coming as restrictions are being lifted throughout the state. Please use wisdom! We encourage you to continue to be safe and maintain physical distance.

National Women’s History Museum

What better time than Mother’s Day (Spoiler Alert: That’s THIS Sunday!) to take advantage of the National Women’s History Museum’s online exhibits. Learn about outdoor adventurers, Women who stood for change, Women of NASA, Women in Politics, Female Olympians and much more!

National Museum of the United States Airforce

Ever wonder what the inside of an aircraft cockpit looks like? Wonder no more! Take a virtual 360 tour at the Airforce Museum online. Or visit their YouTube channel for interviews, aircraft restoration projects and more! Or take a tour of the entire museum from the comfort of your living room.

Harry Potter & the Forbidden Journey

Universal Studios has extended it’s close until May 31st, but you can still take a ride on Harry Potter’s Forbidden Journey! You even get to stand in line. This is considered the must-experience ride inside Hogwarts castle. Take a peek inside the halls of Hogwarts and listen to what the paintings have to say. You can even visit Dumbledore in his office. Wander through the classrooms before you take a magical broomstick ride around the campus, where you’ll meet fire-breathing dragons and, of course, familiar faces from the Harry Potter series, before you end up back in the Great Hall.

That’s it for this week’s edition. But we’ll be back next week with even more events! Have a fabulous weekend, and if you are fortunate enough to have your Mom still with you, be sure to wish her a Happy Mother’s Day on Sunday — even if it’s by phone or, even better, by Facetime if you can’t get together in person.
