We are so excited to kick off our 2024/25 school year by hanging out at the park!
5th Ave has a splash pad as well as play ground equipment and open fields for large group games.
We will have kickball balls/bases if students want to put together a game. There are also sidewalks fun for scooters and skates.
We want this to be a time of meeting new friends and catching up with old ones.
We will have printed tentative calendars for the year available. Remember; every month we will create a FB event with details. We will *try to post about each month on IG but it gets trickier to share all the details there.

Lake Dardanelle State Park now has stand up paddleboards available to rent. Join a park interpreter at the kayak beach near the visitor center for a free paddleboard test drive where you will have the opportunity to try one out for yourself. Each turn will last long enough for participants to get a feel for paddleboarding. No experience is necessary, but you should be comfortable around the water.

Squishmallows Plates Project Day!

Hey friends, it's the Squishmallows! We have a fun project day planned for all our fellow Squishmallows fans. Join us on Sunday, September 1st from 12PM - 6PM to paint your own Squishmallows square dinner plate.

This is a come & go event but we recommend you plan to hang out & paint for about 2 hours. The plates will all be prefired with this fun squishy friends outline and will be ready for you to paint in - just like a coloring book! These plates are completely customizable in your choice of colors & design details!

We'll have refreshments and everyone 21+ is welcome to BYOB. Make sure to bring your favorite Squish along for photos! The front studio will remain open for walk-in painting while we hang & paint in the party room. Calling all Corgis (and Corgi mixes)! We are having a Corgi party at Good Dog Cafe from 3:00-4:30! Bring your Corgis to romp in the park and make some new friends!
We will be closed to the public so that only Corgis (& Corgi mixes) can attend this event.
A limited food & drink menu will be available during the entire event.
We will have our kiddie pools out for this event!
Event may be postponed if the weather doesn't cooperate.
Admission for this special event is $12 per dog and a waiver must be signed before entering the park. Dogs must meet our off-leash park requirements.
We do not allow children under 12 in the off-leash park, but they are welcome in the leashed area.

Labor Day Fireworks

Lake Hamilton, Highway 7 South

Join us in Hot Springs for the annual FREE public Labor Day fireworks display on Lake Hamilton - Sunday, September 1, at 9PM.

The fireworks will be synced with music on radio station 97.5 FM US97 Country when fans watch the display. In case of rain, the fireworks will be rescheduled for Monday evening, September 2.
The fireworks will be shot from the middle of Lake Hamilton from barges located on the east side of Highway 7 at the first Highway 7 bridge opposite the DoubleTree Hot Springs.

Those who want to watch the Labor Day Fireworks display from the water are urged to keep a safe distance from the fireworks launching area and keep watch for fellow boaters. For more information call Steve Arrison at 501-321-2027.
