Playwriting Showcase
Saint Peter's Episcopal Church
As we hopefully move out of years of shutdowns and social distancing, we have set out at The Lantern to build our dedication to fostering and producing new works. With that mission in mind, we began a Playwrighting Group that meets every other Saturday to workshop the scripts they are writing. This group consists of playwrights in their teens to adults, and from every level of experience. So we are excited to be producing our first Playwright Showcase! Please join us on July 9th at 7:30 PM at St Pete’s Episcopal Church Parrish Hall for the showcase. Admission will be a minimum donation of $5 at the door (cash, check, or card accepted). We will also ask that you, the audience, help the playwrights by leaving constructive feedback on the pieces. We hope you’ll join us for the first of what we hope to be many, Playwright Showcase at The Lantern Theatre.
