Christmas Extravaganza
Fairfield Bay Conference & Visitor Center
We’re working to make this Christmas the best one yet at the Bay! Join November 25th-26th for our first annual Christmas Extravaganza! We’ll have vendors, food trucks, entertainment, a Christmas Cookie sale, Christmas light displays, and we’ve even heard rumors of snow.
The Extravaganza will kick off with the Christmas Village Market on November 25-26th from 9AM-6PM. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be making an appearance at the Christmas Cookie sale in the market and will have goodies and a photo op for the kids. Vendors will be selling food, coffee, hot chocolate, and all kinds of crafts and Christmas decorations.
The lighting ceremony, Light Up the Bay, will start at 5:30PM on November 25th in the Town Center. We’ll light up Fairfield Bay while you and your loved ones enjoy sleigh rides from 5:30-7:30PM, carolers, and hot chocolate. Fire dancers will be performing from 6-9PM in the parking lot near Town Center.
The Festival of Trees will begin on November 25th and go through December 5th. Businesses will set up Christmas trees all around town for everyone to enjoy.
At 5PM on Saturday, November 26th, the Christmas Parade will begin to line up at the Baptist Church and the parade itself will start at 6PM. Then we’ll all head to the Conference Center for warm drinks and food offered by Chef Bill and crew and music by Darrell McGee.
Mark your calendars now and don't miss out on the first Christmas Extravaganza! The theme is “Christmas Through the Years”, so you’ll be sure to see lots of fun themed decorations and vendors.

Hike - Camp - Explore the Ozarks
Buffalo River, Arkansas
Dust off those hiking boots and join me for a weekend of hikes, exploring and camping.
Trip will leave 7 am from Neosho Wal-Mart or if coming from a different area meet me at The Big Bluff & Goat Trail trailhead at 10am.
After that we will have a picnic lunch and travel to Glory Holes Falls.
Saturday camp spot TBD.
Sunday we will visit Alum Cove Natural Bridge then travel back up through the Buffalo National River area.
More details to follow including the length of each hike and difficulty. This will be primarily a hiking/exploring trip.

Get away from the fuss and flurry of the modern city and come to where holidays are about people and craftsmanship is done by hand.
Admission is free. Shop the Ozark Folk Center State Park Craft Village during the Ozark Holidays Craft Show on November 26, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Artisans will be set up in their workshops. Guest crafters will be in the Visitor Center.
Entrance to the Village is through the gates below the Visitor Center or below the Ozark Highlands Theater. Parking is available next to the gates.
