Today we have the pleasure of introducing you to one of our newest team members, Barbara Downes!
One day last year, Barbara saw something online about a real estate training opportunity with the Tabatha Davis Team that perked her interest.

She contacted our office and arranged a meeting with Tabatha to see what joining the team might look like. She left that meeting fired up about the possibilities of becoming a realtor and got enrolled in real estate classes and began preparing to earn her license. She took her exam in December and finally got that hard-earned license in February this year!

Barbara has worked in accounting in the medical field for many years and the desire to learn something new and be able to help people with something meaningful to them is what inspired her to get into real estate. Her plan is the eventually retire from medical accounting and go full-time in real estate. She loves the flexibility that real estate has offered which has allowed her to keep her current job while building a new career that she is excited about.

Barbra says her favorite part of the job so far has been being a part of the team. She has loved learning all about the process of helping people buy a home. She loves working with families with children to help them find the perfect place for them to settle in and make new memories!

Barbara has a passion for being healthy, not just physically but spiritually and mentally. She wants to live fully and enjoy life. She has worked hard to lose a significant amount of weight and she has developed a love for cooking healthy and flavorful meals that she loves to share with others. In her free time, she loves to cook and spend time with her family who are scattered from coast to coast. She is Aunt Barbara to 10 nieces and nephews by my brother and sister and Aunt Barbar to her niece’s 10-year-old twin boys and 4-year-old daughter.

We know the future is bright for Barbara and we are excited to watch her thrive in this industry. It is evident that she is willing and determined to put in the hard work and we have no doubt that she will do that for her clients when it comes to meeting all of their real estate needs!
