CALS hosts its monthly 2FAN event at the CALS Rock It! Lab at 120 River Market Ave. Each month, attendees will be greeted with local artists selling their work and/or providing art demonstrations, a DJ or performer playing music, and light refreshments and libations.

The Toltec Mounds site is one of the largest and most impressive archeological sites in the Lower Mississippi River Valley. Occupied by American Indian from about 650 to 1050 AD, this site is home to a group of ancient earthworks that once made up a large ceremonial site. Aboard a motorized tram, visitors will join a park interpreter for a guided tour of the 3/4-mile Knapp Trail and learn more about these structures and the people who built them.

Join us Sunday, January 12th from 10-11 am with amazing adoptable dogs from Springdale Animal Shelter. This community pack walk will be open to anyone 18 years old and up who RSVPs. We will go over some basics of leash training with positive reinforcement to help showcase some of the amazing pups there and get them more prepared for their furever home! We are REQUIRING you to sign up so that we can have an appropriate number of dogs and equipment on site. Please leave your perfect pooches at home so that we can give all our lovin' to these pups in need!

Meet Park Interpreter Emiley to watch the sunset from one of the most scenic sites in the park. The rustic shelter at Red Bluff has stood as part of the park since the CCC built it in the 1930s. Many have come to watch the sunset from this spot, and you can join the tradition! The sun sets at approximately 5:20 p.m.
