Oak St. in Conway, Arkansas. Bella Rustina is locally-owned out of Maumelle and is central Arkansas's original and largest vintage market event.
Exhibitors from numerous states will fill 350+ booths inside the Conway Expo & Event Center and open-air pavilion with authentic vintage, one-of-a-kind handmade, trendy boutique clothing & accessories, and vintage-inspired décor.

Arkansas Comic Con 2024
Statehouse Convention Center
Arkansas Comic Con is a three day event being held on September 6th through 8th, 2024, at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. Arkansas Comic Con will feature guests from movies, television, anime, comic books, and cosplay. Celebrity guests will attend all days (unless otherwise noted) and be available for autographs and pictures (autographs and pictures not included in entry fee). Other featured events are costume contests, Q&As with guests, fan panels, workshops, video game tournaments, tabletop game tournaments, and much more. Vendors and artists from across the country will attend and sell everything from t-shirts and comic books to swords and art. Fan groups from around the state will set up displays devoted to their favorite fandoms and franchises. Cosplayers from across the region will appear in costumes both bought and created and compete for prizes in costume contests. Come join the fun that is Comic Con!

2024 Pope County Fair Pageants
The 2024 Pope County Fair pageants will be held Saturday September 7 at the Atkins High School Auditorium. The event will start at 3:00pm registration and pageant at 4:00pm.
Miss contestants must be single females between the ages of 18-23 and a resident in Pope County. Miss contestants will compete in three areas of competition: Private Interview, evening gown, and on-stage question. The Teen contestants must be single females between the ages of 14-17 and meet resident requirements. Teen contestants will compete in three areas of competition: Private Interview, evening gown, and on-stage question. Each division winner will receive a prize package consisting of crown, sash, flowers, and other prizes. The Miss Pope County Fair Queen and Teen Miss Pope County Fair Queen winners will receive the opportunity to compete at the Arkansas State Fair in October.
The Ms. and Elite Ms. Pope County Fair Queen is open to ladies ages 23-34 and 35-55 years who reside, work, and/or attend school in Pope County at least 6 months prior to the pageant.
Entry fee is $50.
The Little Miss Fair Queen and Little Mister Fair King pageants are open to all residents in the state of Arkansas. Age divisions for girls are 0-18 months, 19-35 months, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-13 years and Boys ages 0-3 and 4-up years. The cost to enter is $40

Then you can comment what you want to paint or I will text you and find out before the night of the event. You can choose any design shown or you can go to our Facebook page & choose one of our other designs if you want. If you choose an interchangeable design you can also choose some small designs to go with it - those are $8 each. All designs will be drawn out for you, and we will outline & letter for you if you want. We can do custom lettering/sayings. It just won’t look exactly like the fonts on the samples.
COST IS $40
payment is due the night of. If you cancel after we have cut your board you can pay us for the board or for a kit. We do not take cards! Cash, check, Cashapp, or PayPal are all fine.

Recycling was an essential part of rural life for people living over a century ago and it should remain an important part of ours today. One item that can be hard to recycle is glass, so let Plantation Agriculture Museum State Park lend a hand. Glass bottles, jars, and containers will be collected at the museum from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday. Information on how to recycle glass throughout the year in central Arkansas will also be available. Light bulbs, plate glass, and glass containers with lids that cannot be removed cannot be accepted at this event.

Attention native plant gardeners! There will be a native perennial plant sale at Pinnacle Mountain State Park greenhouse at 14205 Pinnacle Valley Road on Saturday, September 7th from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. (rainout date will be scheduled for Sunday the next day). There are over 30 species of robust native plants available. This inventory of nearly 1,300 plants must be sold. Nursery size gallon container pots at $8 each. Cash and card will be accepted, checks please be made out to Partners for Pinnacle. All proceeds will be for the state park funding amenities and programming. Fall planting is the best time for native plants. it gives the roots ample time to get established in your growing space prior to winter. Also, a great time to plant those butterfly gardens at schools, churches, and other venues. information on each species will be available on site.
