We’re so excited to welcome Laurie Sliney to the Live Love Arkansas family!

Laurie’s journey into real estate is a testament to life’s unexpected turns. In September, the company she was working for informed her that she could no longer work from Arkansas. Based in Massachusetts, where she was originally from, the company’s policy made it impossible for her to continue in her role. This unexpected change forced her to consider a new career path. On February 14, 2025, she passed her real estate exam and officially became a licensed Realtor, stepping into a new and exciting chapter of her life.

Before making the leap into real estate, Laurie had a 25-year career in the call center industry. Most recently, she worked as a manager for a call center in Massachusetts. With a strong background in customer service, problem-solving, and leadership, she is eager to bring these skills into the real estate world.

As she began her real estate journey, Laurie participated in the Earn as You Learn program at Live Love Arkansas, which she found incredibly beneficial in preparing for her new career.

Her connection to the Tabatha Davis Team began in a personal way. After purchasing a home in Russellville last year, she worked with Jessica Stowers as her Realtor. Last summer, Jessica mentioned an office/admin job opportunity, and in November, after leaving her career in the call industry, Laurie reached out to inquire about it. Though the job was no longer available, Jessica encouraged her to consider becoming an agent. That conversation set everything in motion, and now, here she is!

So far, Laurie has loved every aspect of being a Realtor. She enjoys helping people and is excited to guide clients through the buying or selling process, making their homeownership dreams a reality.

She is especially grateful to those who have helped her along the way. While she acknowledges that everyone has been incredibly supportive, she wants to give a special shout-out to Alisha Houston for the time and effort she has poured into helping her learn the business, even while supporting many others. She also extends her thanks to Tyler Reynolds for his patience and guidance, and to Jessica Stowers for not only being an excellent Realtor but also a mentor and friend.

Outside of real estate, Laurie enjoys spending time with her husband, Dave, in Russellville. Their home is filled with love, including their 137-pound Bull Mastiff, Nat, who thinks she’s a lap dog, and their two senior cats, Bonnie and Clyde, who, at 17 years old, have embraced their grumpy phase.

Her family means everything to her. She is a proud stepmother to Steven (30), who lives in Rhode Island with his fiancée, and Kristina (28), who lives in North Carolina with her daughter, Madison (7). Laurie cherishes her role as a grandmother and loves any opportunity to spend time with Madi.

When she’s not working, she enjoys camping, cruising, and spending quality time with her loved ones. Her faith, family, pets, and friendships are the most important things in her life, and she looks forward to incorporating her passion for helping others into her real estate career.

To her future clients, Laurie wants you to know that she is more than just a Realtor—she is someone who truly cares. Whether buying or selling, she is here to support, guide, and serve every step of the way.

Welcome, Laurie Sliney! We are so blessed to have you on the team and can’t wait to see all that you accomplish!
