The Historical Heat of Hot Springs

Centuries before Hot Springs was on any map, Native Americans revered the area for its mystical, steaming waters believed to possess therapeutic properties. Fast forward to the European settlers' arrival, and the city's significance grew, eventually leading to the establishment of the Hot Springs Reservation in 1832, the oldest federal reserve in the United States.

However, it's not just about ancient history. The Roaring Twenties and Thirties saw Hot Springs transformed into a retreat for notorious gangsters, such as Al Capone, lured by gambling, horse racing, and of course, the baths.
